Ademar Leodoro Machado

July 25, 1955 - September 2, 2021

Unable work over 20 years ago, Ademar Machado discovered a new passion to alleviate his pain and hopelessness caused by a kidney transplant. His love of the violin, and the soothing sounds from it, influenced him to create this beautiful instrument with his own two hands. Working tirelessly with the patience of a true craftsmen, he made many stunning violins in his lifetime. His work with violins sang volumes about this quiet and dedicated man. 

This devotion to his violin making was surpassed only by his dedication to his loving family. It is with great sadness that his loving wife and adoring children mourn the loss of this wonderful husband and father. He is survived by his wife Tanya, daughter Sabrina, and son Andre. He is pre-deceased by his daughter Alexandra Machado Santos. His grandchildren Ivan and Sebastian Santos, survive and cherish his memory. Prior to his kidney failure, he was a building supervisor who enjoyed sculpting with stone when not engaged in family activity. 

To understand the measure of this thoughtful man, here are words written by his daughter Sabrina years ago: "You are a wise owl that knows all the answers. You are like nature itself, a complex mystery. You've opened my mind to the universe in all its length and breadth. All my emotion, feeling, and love for you can not be explained, and has no bounds. You have stained my soul forever, like stained glass, to be forever in my heart, bound to my soul. You will be loved forever, beyond the end of time."

Recently, his son said “his father was the most beautiful man, full of wisdom, laughter, stories, and endless advice about life. That he was a unique man that many didn’t understand but were lucky if they got to know him. He was a man of many trades, including a great horseman.”

No one looked at the world like Ademar Machado, may he rest in peace, he will forever be missed.
